It has now been three months since the “Zero Tolerance” thread was raised. It provoked a lot of discussion and several points were raised which needed addressing.
It was unrealistic to expect immediate change, but enough time has now passed to suggest that the membership be advised what steps the Admin/Moderator team has made to improve the forum.
Please tell us what the “Team’s” official view is on a Mod removing a post, which did not infringe any forum rules, and then closing the topic.
Also, what is going on with the “New Area Managers”? At least one has been removed without so much as courtesy message.
Look at the responses in that topic please, thread had been mvoed due to a system fault, and the status removal is probably due to a TMF+ resubscription or similar, that automatically changes groups, but sometimes results in us losing mod/admin/doc status.
Opening multiple topics to deal with one issue won’t help solve it.
I presume this will answer your questions, and this topic can be closed?
I see no responses except Minili suggesting the “Team” needed more time to discuss the issues raised. There were several suggestions made. What progress gas been made?
I recon the mods and admin do an ipressive job, and therefor be left to run the forum as they see fit, without the endless questions…remember its a thankless task…up the mods

**…Nice job Ipod, now you can have “Those Pictures” back(don’t forget you’re still banned from the petting zoo at the Drayton Manor Park)**
I don’t honestly see what all this muck raking is going to achieve?
It really is a situation where we’re gonna be dammed if we do and dammed if we don’t. Things have been going smoothly, users have been behaving, as a Mod I see that we’re getting fewer reported topics through and there generally seems to be a more mature attitude to the forum.
Everyone has been (mostly!!) getting along and I don’t see what this going to achieve and even more importantly I don’t understand why you feel the need to act as “Peoples Champion”?
The change of user group usually happens by accident, it happened to me, I PM’d “Marksmini” he apologised and changed me back within 2 hrs, job done.
Topics can get deleted by accident, I’ve done it myself. Also the TMF team have the right to pull a topic that we disagree with until its discussed by us all. The rules are there for all to see and have been discussed at length before.
If any individual has an issue with a mod/admin decision then the best course of action is a PM, not a thread. All you get is bandwaggon jumpers and people who just like the sound of their own keyboards butting in.
Most issues can be dealt with quickly and without fuss, the less people that are involved the better.
(Its even more important to remember that as team we are all human and are legally required to make mistakes at times!!!). All of this is done in our own time and as such can be a slow process.
Bribes aside, I’ve found the whole TMF experence much better over the past few months. Undoubtedly, there will still be some problems. Whenever I’ve had a problem, mods have responded quickly and politely. In fact, shifty helped me recently with an issue with a seller on here.
I do think we need to stop this stirring though. I feel that TMF has become alot better, but you must remember that non-TMF+ members don’t pay for the site and all mod/admin work is volunteered. Which I am very grateful for, the site has helped me no end over the past 3 years.
All jokes aside i echo shiftys remarks , the level of reported posts is down , people " seem " to be getting along better, which can only mean we are doing our jobs in providing a nice pleaseant place for all!!!
> Sorry, but all I needed was a polite, simple answer to my simple question.

All I asked is what was happening. Not being a “poeple’s champion” or anything else. What muck is being raked? Yes, most of the Mods do a great job, but the few concerned must remember that new members need help and guidence not curt answers. There were several suggestion made in the original thread which deserved consigeration by the team. Sensibly, it was suggested that time was allowed for tis process. All I asked was, after three months, what decisions had been made. Is this an unreasonable request from a member that wants to see this forum go from strength to strength?
**As shifty has said if individuals have a major issue feel free to PM a member of admin or a moderator who will be happy to help resolve the matter promptly and with the minimum of fuss , which thankfully over the past few months has been few and far between,a testament to the valued members we have on TMF**
