the vibe is about a year old and the pioneer has had 3 diff owners!!hardly used by each!!

Go for the vibe if the price is right, the jbl amp isn’t really up to the job of powering the pioneer sub really and at high volumes may cause it some damage, plus the vibe is in a well made enclosure and has had less owners!
ya I was going to say the vide too, as it seems according to the data that the sub and amp have been matched to maximize performance. Not alot of data provided but the vibe seems like it was a thought out package that will compliment each component with the others.
the vibe is only a 300watt amp an i aint sure what the amp is on the jbl!!!not sure!!!ill try an find out what price!!

mini steve, just realised your car used to belong to a mate of mine, what engine and box you got in it. I followed you back into trevelgue campsite on the run at riviera run and noticed the car them but didn’t realise it belonged to someone on this site!
Id say vibe all the way. I have got the cbr12 running in my boot. i have had to uprate my battery and cable to power it, but vibe all the way! :smartass:
vibes are very good quality subs, loud and neat
the active series range all have amps that are perfectly matched to the sub they come with, they are also in their own acoustically balanced enclosures so they sound quite good
