I believe this too is sorn’d.
Here’s a thread with some other tips/ways to check it all out
> RSP not coming up, does that mean it has been scrapped?
What does date of liability mean?
The RSP is under Rover, not Austin
The date of Liability is when the vehicle would either need to be taxed or sorned again. If it says Sorn not due I believe (after putting mine in) that the vehicle is currently sorn’d.
License not due on the other hand I believe is when the vehicle is still taxed
It’s good to know they are all still alive somewhere
> It’s good to know they are all still alive somewhere
Well they are still on the DVLA database, AND they are all either taxed or sorned (I’ve checked with my cars and its correct - Sorn Not Due = Sorned and License Not Due = Taxed) so they are all still in existance.
Check back in the summer months as they may be brought on the road for the shows?
mmm interesting my old designer which was a complete rot box is still on the road and insured …
i wonder if the serious rust issues were fixed by the dealer i sold it too hopes for the new owner
I traded my RSP in at Rover with a whining gearbox, 2 days later it was up on the forecourt at £4500 not fixed!!
What does this mean? -
“Vehicle Identity Check (VIC) Marker VIC required
A Vehicle Identity Check (VIC) marker has been set against this vehicle record.”
That means it has been a Cat C write off
> That means it has been a Cat C write off
> What does this mean? -
“Vehicle Identity Check (VIC) Marker VIC required
A Vehicle Identity Check (VIC) marker has been set against this vehicle record.”
Where did you see that?
Cat X & D write offs do not need a VIC Check (check to see if the engine/body numbers match), Cat C do and Cat B cannot be brought back on the road (they are either broken for spares or converted to track use only).
