What Arches For My New 10" Wheels

I originally have 12 x6 on the car and at the mo the car has group 4 arches on, I now have 10x6.5 force racing wheels. Do I stick with same arches or change?

Get the wheels and put them and see what there like sure ive 10’s under sportspack arches
So if you like the group 4’s leave them
Less cost In the end

I’m about to buy some 10x6’s… How wide do your wheels have to stick out to use miglia arches? Or are miglias just trimmed to suit?

*******in’ wide! Or as you say, trim them down until they’re small enough to sit neatly on the wheel. But if you’re going to trim that far you might be better off with a different arch. Grp5 euro’s look similar and aren’t as wide.

For reference, my Revo’s stick out 3" clear of the wing and there’s an easy 1.25" more on the Miglia arches I have before trimming.

There is the option of wheel spacers but be prepared for a hornets nest of discussion on that one, my advice would be ask people who’ve actually run them as to their viability, as you’re considering wide wheels to fit the arches I’m guessing you’re aiming for looks over race track level handling?

I’m currently running 10x5 with spacers. So if I keep the spacers and get 10x6’s I should fill most of that 1.25" left on the miglias right?

You will, depending on the 10x6 wheels you buy and the offset they have.

How wide are your spacers currently? If you ballpark that once trimmed to fit against the bodywork the Miglias will be about 4" you’ll have an idea the width to work with.
Personally unless your car is purely for cruising I’d not push the wheels too wide just to fill the arches, my understanding is that 3/4" is about the limit for a daily drive, in terms of preserving handling and part life. Beyond that you get cool looks but have to drive slower everywhere and perform maintainance at accelerated intervals.

That’s only what I’ve come across from researching and talking to people running spacers though, yet to fit mine and see the differnce it has.
