Think next project is going to be a van, I was sort of tempted by one on ebay, but it had a side window conversion, and its not the look I’m after. The seller did put in the blurb could be put back to original with new panels.
I’ve had a look round and the top half of the rear body doesn’t seem to be available ?? Anybody seen any anywhere.

I’ve seen photos of these mythical pieces of metal - made by someone on the continent (Holland rings a bell) but no-one seems ever to have been able to get a set over the English Channel!

I believe the continental panels (from Belgium I think) are meant to convert an estate into a van, not to repair a van that’s been butchered. The van and estate sides are different, they wouldn’t be a straight swap. Although you could use them with some work I’d imagine.
Sounds like its wise to give vans with butchered sides a miss then
I think Arc Angels do a van side panel in fibre glass.
I think this really is an opening in the market for a good panel making company to start producing these.
buy a grp van shell and transfer your parts into it…

Try having a word with M-Machine they will make one off panels to order, I don’t know what the cost would be but I have always found them very helpful.
