this is of another forum. they were having a moan at how some people only post on certain posts. ie close friends. 2 people can put up similar post’s and one will get loads of post’s and some very few. Two things 1) this is no way aimed at any one on here 2) witch influence’s you to read a post: title or author

I read the majority because of title… reason is if its something i think i will be able to help with i will have a look… if not i stay clear and avoid wasting my time.

Sometimes look at who’s the last person to post. I often like to read replies from certain people because they are always nice and concise and knowledgeable. I know by reading their replies there’s a good chance I could improve my knowledge on the subject.
I also look at the number of replies a topic has had. If it’s had none and its a topic that is maybe a few hours or days old then sometimes I’ll try to add to it, both to give the OP some feedback, but to also bump it in the hope that someone else will be encouraged to post. Also, if a topic has had a lot of replies I’ll have a peek to see what all the fuss is about.
