Sportspack Arches...

I Have Cut Away And Drilled The Front Arches For 13’ Sportspack Arches And Wheels, Is There An Agressive Looking Arch That Will Cover The Holes?

If not, does anyone have any tips on how to fit the sportspack set, the painter coated the threads and they don’t hold well enough in the rubbery plastic to run a die up.

The car also doesn’t seem to handle all that well with the 13" wheels, is this usual?

dont quote me on this but im 99% sure many people say that the bigger wheels you put on, the worse the handling is.

thats why most people go for 12 inch wheels instead of 13 because its the best compromise without swapping too 10s.

also i dont understand why you are having problems with the sportspack arches.

all i did was after i had lined up the holes from the brackets too the body, drill a small pilot hole and then attach the arch with self tapping screws.

A lot of people are fitting the group 5 euro arches these days, they are very wide & will cover your wheels no probs, as for the handling the downside of 13" wheels is that it will tramline & handling is never as good as 10" wheels. The suspension of a mini just wasn’t never designed for wheels that big.

ive got group 5s on my cooper, and yes 13 inch wheels may look good but do nothing for the handling of the car!
