lol no i mean wer would they stick to and would they not fall of over bumps? cheers
Could you attach it the same as the front ones are attached? Weld on some little brackets?
ok looks like its out of me leuge i cant weld so im going to have to impravise when i get my boot and debumper the back also does anyone no if those square license plates are legal??
ok if you cant weld how are you planning on debumpering the back? if someone else is doin it for you just ask them to weld some brackets on while they are doing it
as in my other topic someone sead you can get a strip of rubber type thing thats slots over it like the seems on the rest of the car.
bump
That’s by no means ‘de-bumpering’, is it?
Proper de-bumpering get’s rid of the seam and isn’t that easy to do in a proper way.
Use you phantasie and screw/glue/weld/stitch/nail some strips of metal/alu/wood/lead/GRP on the rear valance and screw/glue/weld/stitch/nail the numberplate on.
Need an example? Look at the front numberplate
Illuminaton could be done with those illumniated numberplate-screw-on-thingys you get on eBay
ok i realy did not get that method lol but cheers
I’ll just say what everyone wants to.
You’ll need to weld if you want to actually *debumper*.
why is everyone so hung up about the need to remove the valance seam to be de-bumpering? The bumper is the silver/plastic rounded bit that bolts onto the seam. Any look not including those bumpers is “de-bumpered”. Its just marginally illegal/dangerous to not cover the seam in some way.
You could avoid welding a number plate bracket by using one of the bumper mount holes by the way. Get a number plat surround and then attach it from the top down through the bumper mount.
Sam
cheers buddy thats seems abit more resonable
