To go against todays popular grain of fitting the biggest and most powerful speakers…
When I’ve sorted out my clubby, I don’t want a huge and powerful install, but I want it to be a bloody good sound quality. Now my idea requires that I get very small speakers, maybe some upto 5" either on the dash, or nearby, and some preferably about 3" to go elsewhere. Is this possible, I don’t mind spending a few hundred to get the sound quality up, as I fear that such small speakers may not be upto much?
Go for Bose if you can get em Jammy, sound good in Mercs!
You could fit some half decent 5" comps, anything less than 5" would be seriously lacking in bass. If you aint fitting a sub or anything else to give the bass then they need to be in a decent speaker build.
Ok, the speakers that need to be about 3" are going directly behind the drivers and passengers heads. I may have room for one more speaker, again not a big one, but something that could give me some bass?
why not go for a 6.5" sub woofer and an iddy bitty amp
Ive just got a set of rainbow components supposedly best on the market but have yet to fit them in the car look great aswell!!!
