Seatbelts And Harnesses? Requirement

Hi there,
im finially having the mini inspected by insurance tomorrow morning, now im stuck here as i had harnesses and bucket seats in the mini when i crashed, but i took the normal seatbelts out as i was not using them and there was no need for them…

now what do i do?
im gunna check to see if the pasenger side is still able to be fitted…but do i put them back in or not?
would the question be asked i should of been wearing the seatbelt instead of 4 point harneses?

any share there thoughts please

If your harnesses are in good nick and road legal then I dont think you need to fit auxiliary seatbelts. But I am slightly unsure what your asking!

I don’t understand either. Are your harnesses not raod legal? If not there is a chance your insurance was invalid when you crashed. Did you not declare the harnesses to the insurer? If not then again, you may find you aren’t covered. Or are you simply wanting to rescue the belts to reuse them? If so that’s a really terrible idea, never re-use a seatbelt after any crash.
