on tickover he engine is fine when i pull away it coughs and splutters unless i use a load of revs then its ok sort of. any ideas ta
If you pull the choke out does it drive ok?!
yep it runs a lot better but not perfect with the choke out
check the dash pot oil, mine always splutters when its running low!
Then have a play with the timing advancing it sightly and eventually tweaking the mixture slightly
Might be that the mixture is running lean then?! Has it been MOTd recently? I’d recommend a RR session.
