aoparently the DVLA want proof you drop engine size… seeing as my logbook says 1380 but its got a 1275 in it (grrrrrrrr) what would i need to do?
Can i talk to my local garage and get them to write a bit o headed paper that it’s a standard bore and stroke?
yeah that is the best way.
They normally only need documentary evidence when a smaller engine is put in so that you can get cheaper tax.
so it shouldnt be a problem as it hasnt changed VED tax bands.
I just change the V5 and send it back for a new one..
