Oil Leak

Filled my oil to “max” last week it is now near empty.

Clearly there is a leak as i woke up this morning to see oil were my car was parked.

Anyone know what the problem might be?

empty? or just down to the min line, if its the min line you’ve basically lost 0.5ltr of oil, you’ll need to look under the car for any fresh oil down the engine or on the subframe, if you can’t see anything obvious it may be worth cleaning off as much as you can topping your car back up, parking it again and checking after a while to see if any more oil has appeared where you cleaned

Mine leaks from somewhere on the right hand side by the fan. Leaks a fair amount. It likes to leave a calling card of a few drops where ever I leave it

Its gone below to “Min” line its almost at the bottom of the dipstick. It rained last night and when i moved my car there was a puddle of oil

Put some white paper underneath the car, fill it up, check back in a few hours for any drips. Follow the drip up, and then you’ll have a rough idea of where the leak is coming from.
1/2 a litre is a lot of oil to lose/use in a week!

if its that far down you’ve lost a LOT of oil, certainly don’t run you car until you’ve topped up!
