Hi all

Me & my girlfriend have just bought a Mini Cooper 1.3 1992 & are looking to get it checked over / serviced for the first time, is there anyone out there in my area Porthtowan Cornwall who comes in high regard because the reaction of my closest mechanic was oooohhhhhh it’s gonna cost ya.. so I turned around & walked away.

Surely mechanics should have learnt by now it’s not the first comment they should say when they have not even seen the car or even asked you what you want done..!

I think it’s along the same line as cold calling someone & the first thing you say is I’m a double glazing sales man…, beeeep..

Anyway rant over.. I would be most grateful for any suggestions to whom I should take this car to, there is a bit of a rush because we want to take it on it’s first road trip a.s.a.p .. excited

Hi..I don’t think garages like SPIs or MPIs as they need computor software wich is difficult to find …Best try dare I say a Bini garage as they should have software…you can change the Plugs, oil, oil filter, and air filter…then you need to get it set up for Immishions…good luck…
