Hello everyone!
Just thought I’d pop in to say hello as I search for my first Mini .
Why now? Well I had a thoroughly duff start to the year after being made redundant in January. After a couple of months of job hunting I’m back in employment quick enough to think about buying something to put a smile back on my face. There’s no point in saving the money at the minute!!
The Mini will be a second driver for my girlfriend and I and generally treated as a fun car. I’m on the lookout for anything in half decent condition. It doesn’t have to be a show stopper, just fairly solid and reliable .
My current car is an MX-5. I’ve had it for a couple of years now and it’s been a great little car. It was pressed into service as a daily commuter for the past year (80 miles a day = big mileage) but it’s still going strong!
Here it is in Centre Ville, Le Mans for the 24 hour race last summer. (Also featured is my Dad locking the door!).
hopefully I’ll be behind the wheel of a Mini soon and see people at shows/events this summer.
