New Body Shop Opening

I am opening a new body shop approx 8 miles from swindon, I am hoping to specialise in mini’s but will not turn other work away “Money is money”.
I have been working on Mini’s since 10 years old, first racing them in grass track then re-building/restoring them from my garage at the side of my house. I have completed several restorations for different people. I have been in the mini scene for approx 15yrs+, I have very good knowledge of everything mini not just body work & have re-built engines,gearboxes etc, For road & race use.
Here are a couple of pictures of cars I have done :

This is the engine I have built aswell : Bored +60" (1330) lightened balanced, Arp bigend bolts & Mains, Mk3 cooper s head, ported polished & bronze guides, converted to unleaded. Aldon dizzy, HIF 44 carb, Minisport 1.5mm roller rockers, etc. All in all approx £2000 spent including gearbox & diff.

The latest one that I am doing is “Smart arse” which will be around the shows this year, First stop Riv Run 09.

We are going to be having an open day on the 4th April for people to come along and have a chat, we can be found at Unit 1, Blakehill Business park,Chelworth road, Cricklade, Sn6 6jd. All welcome to attend. Or call Rob on (01793 759399)

If I were closer I’d pop down as this is something I hope to do in my future.

Cheers Jack, If your ever wondering around a show and see any of the cars pop over & have a chat, I will be at various shows this year so look out for the car.

Best of luck mate, Ive just opened my own body and paintshop too in Milton Keynes. Same as you specialising in Minis.

Would love to pop along to the open day but i’m not back in the country till around the 15th, and the mini is currently undegoing major surgery. Thanks for the offer though, maybe catch up with you at the riv run, if not i’ll bring my car down to your workshop at some point, only in Lyneham

Yeah no problem, pop along anytime, will be open for business full time from the 6th so will at unit everyday.

Yeah will be, just had a brand new booth installed.
