Need Help And Advice On Upgrading My Brakes

hi everyone hoping you could give me some advice and opinions???

the next plan for my mini is getting some brakes that actually work lol ive been looking on mini sport and ive already bought some goodridge braided brake hoses and im thinking to get some tarox brake pads and grooved and drilled disks and a set of mintex rear drum shoes and a set of superfin drums.

is that a good set up for a daily driver???
any horror stories???

any advice or opinions greatly appreciated i thought that was good on a tight budget but if you recommend any other setups let me know

What is wrong with your current brakes? You could just need replacement discs and pads all round.
I find my EBC green stuff pads pretty good.

What setup do you currently have?

I have a set of hardly used drilled & grooved solids i just took off mine when i did a 4 pot upgrade - interested?

standard brakes are good enough for daily road use. Drilled and and groove are only better when there hot enough. like track racing when your braking alot. Only then your see a real difference.

Just some green stuff pads will do if they need replacing, as already said the only difference over standard with all this stuff is that i works better when used a lot under racing conditions.
