Spotted this in someone’s back garden a few months ago. Went and asked them about it the other day, and it’s been off the road since 2004, had a re-spray about 3 years ago but it’s not a very good one. Brand new wheels and tires fitted. Engine hasn’t run yet, but it’s a work in Progress. All welding has been done, and seems generally in good health. Interior was a work in progress, got bucket seats but no sub frames, which is fine as they’ll not be staying in the car anyway.

£900. not paid for it yet, as that price was on the condition that they got it started. As it is they couldn’t (didn’t have the time to take a proper look), so i’ve got it on my girlfriends drive to see what i can do. I’m still getting a cooper engine of someone on here soon, so may just put that in instead. Think i’ll need to change to disk brakes up front though.

Cheers guys, the more bits i take off it, the more work i realise i’m gonna have to do to get her up and running. Although I bought it as a runabout, I tend to get carried away lol.
I’ve seen this in the flesh and it has real potential. We’ll have to strip that engine and find out whats happened to it (mod-wise).
