Hello, Here’s the clubman shell i got about 4 months ago for my project. I will let the pics do most of the talking. I have about 80 pics but wont be posting them all take to long.

what did you use to clean the bulk head

Underside geting sorted.
Then i cut the front panal off as it was crap.
Here’s the new one i striped all the black paint of and sprayed it with red oxide.
Will upload more in the next 20 mins going to make a drink

At this stage at the min, Building all the stuff up ready to be fitted.
Both subframes have been blasted and powercoated.
Dont have many pics of the parts i have been buying from Mini spares but theres alot of them
Here’s the engine from my 1978 Clubman GT its a 1330, Will be all cleaned up and painted, with new parts where needed. This will be going in the orange clubman along with all the new parts.
Upto now the total spend is around £1600, Not bad. Still alot more to do yet tho.

P.S what did you use to clean all the metal like that looks ace did you just spray the red oxide straight onto the bare metal.
A few people have been asking me that, Will get the name for you tomorrow, Think its some kind of acid not sure.
Should look great when done, by seeing the little bits of your daily
