Hi guys does anyone know what diff these gearbox is likely to have and are they any different than a normal mini box I’m thinking of putting it in my 1380 I have been offered it all I know is the case number is dam 5626
They have a bigger spigot bearing on the 1st motion shaft, otherwise they’re no different, 3.2 final drive
AS above - nose bearing is a different size…but you can fit the ‘normal’ one…
oh and its most likely shot to bits.. as the boxes have basically the same internals… a 998 A+ box would have had far less torque through it compared to a Metro turbo A+ box!
IMHO budget for a full rebuild and dont pay over over the odds ‘because its a turbo box’
