It seems as though every time it rains the carpet under my feet gets wet. This has been an ongoing prob since I just had the bit of floor replaced and sealed. Where could the water be coming from and how to fix?
there is a drainage hole in the footwell it should have a sealed grommet but sometimes they fall out. it may be that
Front windscreen seal. They go hard and do not do the job intended. Water gets behind the seal at the top and runs down to the bottom where it then runs down the inside, behind the upper dash rail, straight down under the carpet.
It has been pouring here in Florida, USA, another big storm just offshore. This morning 77LeylandMini brought me my stereo head…and water poured out of it. Wherever the water is coming in it’s not the windshield, the seal is good. My front carpet is soaked as well /
I checked the windscreen seal and it is solid. Where abouts in the footwell is this gromet? Are these the only possible locations of a leak?
