Is It Worth It ?

right ive been reading vizards book and im real intreasted on the 998 bit at the back.k7n stack equiped HIF6 car, On a Howley intake manifold, together with a maniflow medium bore LCB plumber torough a competition silencers exhaust system. 998 cooper s head equiped with rimflo valves cut to give a compression of 10!. +40 powermax pistons . rods and crank fully reworked. the camshaft was a piper magnum 270, set to give a full lift at 105 degreese.

is it worth it and how much ??? and would it be hard sounds very technical??

no offense but no one can really tell you if it is worth it, you would need to get quotes from a machine shop for all the parts and machining etc if you are going to build it yourself. quite alot of your information is wrong there is not a 998 cooper S, the 998 cooper head is the 12G295 casting with larger valves than the standard 998 head, so it will produce a little more power, also you would skim the head to lower the compression not cut? the valves!! I think you need to read up on the subject a little more and maybe start off with a simple engine rebuild if you wanted to have a go at it yourself, there is a really good edition of the mini magazine called mini expert that has a great engine and gear box building guide. quite alot on the 998 engine as well.
