I’ve just bought a second hand inertia switch form the bay but I’m not sure which pins are which.
There’s three (?), is one an earth?
It looks like it should have a proper plug connector but I’ll just have to use some tiny spade connectors but need to know which is which.
Any help?

The 2 outer pins are what you need. The third pin is powered up when the switch is not on (ie. warning light to say pump is not on etc).
just to clarify - are you talking about the fuel cut off inertia switch on the bulkhead of SPi’s/MPi’s?
Yeah sorry thats the one i meant . Assumed you were fitting a non standard leccy pump. If your talking about something else then i have no idea
Yes, it’s for a fuel pump. It’s not on an SPi though, replacing a mechanical pump.
