Indicators Not Working?

niether are working, not the bulbs as they both went at same time. im guessing a fuse? but then i checked and they seem alright..

if some indicators are working im guessing its the connection i had same problem i just got a very small file/screwdrive and scrapped the rust off then they worked again. but if none are working must be something else??

or flasher?? not to sure

josh

yer none are working, i recently had the engine out to change the diff, so she has been having a few teething problems.
ill have a fiddle with the flasher unit.
cheers anyway mate

does the reverse lights work and the interior light if not its the fuse which is an inline fuse in the middle of the engine bay tucked up above the scuttle

josh

ah good suggestion! i dont remember the interior light being on so ill have a check in the morning.
cheers

Hazard switch was the problem with my temperamental indicators. If it isn’t the fuse then I’d go down that route next. Weird thing was, the hazards still worked fine!

Have a look at the usual culprits, ie, connectors in below the edge of the bonnet slam panel. There is also an inline fuse located un the loom at the rear of the carburettor/bulkhead. These come loose from time to time.

If your hazzards work but your indicators dont then its the switch.
