as the title says
i have just been asked by a little old lady (80) how much i think her mini is worth, as she knows i am into my minis.
i am going to see it later, so it would be good to have a few numbers bouncing around my head when i do. (im not buying it, im just helping her out)
here are the details i have:
1972 clubby (tax exempt)
1 lady owner since new
89, 000 miles
full MOT
never been off the road
cheers

had a pair of wings and the paint has blistered on one side and has got warm on the other. have to look fairly close though
doors are very good.
boot floor seems good too.
it would benifit from a set of floor pans as i had to weld them for the mot.
the more i poked the more the holes grew.
i can honestly say though its in better nick than my 88. if i didnt have mine id snap her hand off for it.

did you go and see this in the end?
i didnt in the end, as i had car trouble, but i wil be over the next few days.
she wants my advise as someone offered her £700 for it, but i know thats a total rip off for her
Ahh Nice man, Yea make sure she gets a nice bunce for it!!! cant stand it when people try to rip elderly off! not on atall! make her smile!!!
Going By what you’ve said, £850 would be alot.
> Going By what you’ve said, £850 would be alot.
£850 for a 1972 tex exempt clubman with a whole years MOT with one lady owner from new
i think its worth slightly more than that
Oh yeah Tax exempt missed that, but the way the Economy is at the moment you would most probably sturggle to get any more than £850 for it.
she’s obviously spent loads on up keep over the years so she should hold out for as much as she can bless her
i have to agree with craig on this one… its a shame as it should be worth more, however current circumstance means no one is buying… sell it two years ago you’d prob get twice as much…
its gotta be worth more especially this year being the 50th!
is this still for sale and where id pay that for it!?
id pay more than 750 for a tax exempt clubby with full mot in in the credit crunch if i was still looking for a mini tell her to keep it a bit longer
