what power would you estimate from my engine atm
998cc City E engine
Maniflow exhaust system with inlet and standard carb with needle and k&n air filter
what power increase would i get from the same set up but with a hiff44 turbo carb
and what further increases would i get from a bp255 camshaft
also would this camshaft work with a 998 engine that will be turbo’d i cant decifer it
also what extra power would i get from a 12g295 head with double valve springs
You have started 4 topics Pretty much identical to this one already, each time users have helped as much as they can but essentially you have got the same answers.
I would recommend doing two things… firstly asking in the ‘Forced Induction’ section of the forum (since you’re having a turbo it would make a lot of sense to ask in the turbo specific section of the forum) and also You will benefit from joining the Turbominis Forum, they will be familiar with the the sort of turbo you’re using and may even be able to help you with the Cam you desperatley want to fit - which looks like it will be an ok cam to fit to a turbo engine, wont light any fires though.

what power increase would i get from the same set up but with a hiff44 turbo carb zero, mybe even lose power at low revs
and what further increases would i get from a bp255 camshaft 3 to 4bhp
also would this camshaft work with a 998 engine that will be turbo’d i cant decifer it I don’t like piper cam profiles, but in theory it is ok for turbo use

i have been reading on turbo minis and they suggest a n/a turbo mg cam would this be ok for a 998?
the MG cam is ideal, so is the 295 head.
a turbocharged 998 with a 295 head and an MG cam could make anywhere between 60 and 150bhp, depending on turbo and boost levels.
