Hi everyone,
Just got a new second hand carb as had problems with the old one. The only thing being is the old one was a HIF 38 and the new one is a 44. I was just wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction on what needle to use with the spec of the car as follows: standard 1275, lcb manifold with stainless system, K n N filter with stub stack.
I have a AAA and BDB needle at the moment, would any of them be suitable or near suitable?
BDL is what you need.
AAA cant be used on a HIF44 as you need a 0,1" needle with that carb.
BDB is damn too lean for a 1275 with KN filter.
thats why i probably am unable to start it with the AAA needle then isnt it! haha
