Help! Can Someone Id These Bmc Engines?

I have picked up a couple of engines and gear boxes. I cant find on the net what they are though.

All I know is they are 1275cc. Does anyone know what they are out of?

I have :

Engine ID tags :
12H616E-H371
12g1279 076 stamped on that block

also
12H702E-H26673
12g1279 070 stamped on that block

then I have:

Head
A17E2 Stamped by rockers also on that one says 12A1456
The manifold attached is stamped 12g787

Gearboxes I got :

22g1832 under that VF2 A

and

A/BZ.5 DAM 3220 B.C&M

Any help most welcome

Edit… Just trying myself to put your engine numbers into his calculator… and 12H goes in fine but 616 is not on the list, I had a similar problem with an engine of mine, the number of which started 12H 6_ _ (something something… i cant remember, possibly 694) and i came to the conclusion it was an austin 1300 engine, still A series, but not mini. This last statement i’m not sure on though, so please don’t take it as red! I’m sure someone on here will know more definitively though.

Yeah, apologies for that, not got round to doing all the A series engines yet, however there is an FAQ which does cover the basics of the older engine codes.
