Head Light Doesnt Work

Just looked at my headlights, again!

my drivers side light works, i get side light, dipped and high beam.

however, my dipped on the passenger side doesnt work.

All the wires are in place, all connected.

using a screw driver that lights up when earthed i have found, that at the splitter, the power stops when the head light is connected.

any ideas how to sort this?

new parts?
head lights, halygene(?)
plastic bowels

and the entire front..

thanks

Remove all bullet connections under the slam panel, clean and re-test ?

dodgy earth connection, all sorted now, after making a new one

**Well done on finding the problem

Clean electrics are a a must for reliable performance from electrical systems throughout the year - but problems are particularly prone to happening during the winter months, and as such it’s always worth doing a yearly check on your connections, cleaning, rewiring, and replacing as you go to make sure you have trouble free motoring.

The connections under the slam panel are the usual culprits for odd lighting behaviour, and it’s vital that earths are properly connected and securely insulated from everything else.

Since this is now solved. Topic closed.**
