Harness fitting...

Hi to all that have fitted harnesses to minis…

Just a quick qustion, just got some buckets for my pickup, and i like the idea of fitting harness in for me anyways, but a pair looks better…

Does anyone know how or if the harnesses will fit and do there job?

Hi u can get these things i think are called eyes whitch bolt into the old seatbelt bolts and u just click the harnesses on to them but in a pick up i dnt ne where you would put the two and the back is it a 5 point?

heres one it just screws into the old seatbelt hole

I’ve seen harnesses on pickups before, but not sure how they mount them. The side mounts for the lap belt are bolted into the original place with the eye bolts as above, but not sure about the shoulder straps. The first thought would be to bolt them to the floor, but they say that they need to have a minimum 45* angle to the seat. The only other thing would be to bolt them to the rear bulkhead but you’ll need to put plenty of stregnthening in it to take the weight of a person in an impact.

I would ring a few of the mini specialists and see if they have any sugestions.
