Went to halfrauds today to see if they have a coil in for my mini, they said no and they would have to order it and it would cost me… £34!!! yes £34!!! Ive seen coils for £11 why are they selling them for that much!! I turned round and went out with the stuff i got, not paying that much for a coil.
If you want anything like that and are going to MITP, then ask me. I get a small *ahem *70% *ahem* discount on certain things in Halfords from the parts desk.

Why even bother?! You can’t buy mini parts there anymore, they don’t even do mini points! I wouldn’t get anything for a mini there and I work there! Goota go, off to help someone with an oversize novelty boot spoiler now for their 87 orion.

Worse than that - Last time i asked for a set they said itll cost me £7 and take a month to come in!!!
we must have a different kind of halfords round here then, i popped in last week and picked up genuine lucas points and a condensor for about 80p…and no it wasn’t a mistake, the price was on the hook as well.
cost me £3 for a rotor arm and 5 for a dizzy cap, the coil just took the biscuit. I only got the rotor arm and dizzy cap because i needed them.
i once got told by a small tyre company close to where i live that they didnt stock the *special* battery for my mini but could get me one and it would only take three days and for that he would only charge me £45 !!! I said “what time do you close?” and went straight to motorworld who supplied me with exactly what I wanted at a fraction of the cost. I think some of these guys think we just came down in the last shower.
Halfords sell batteries. For 60quid. For the smallest one! As I said earlier, if anyone needs anything this weekend or anything, give us a PM and I’ll get some stuff trade price from halfords…
