Full M Machine Mk4 Floor

Hi Guys and Girls,
Can people tell me how much they have paid for their full m-machine floor’s as looking at getting one but want to know how much I’m going to have to pay for it.
Thanks

£672 according to their catalogue

You should get 10% off with your TMF+ discount.

I bought a complete heritage floor assembly from Minispeed with a 12.5% discount code for £541.07 inc delivery.

Be prepared to wait a while as they are not the most responsive company but if its saves you a few quid…

I would buy a heritage floor but for the fact that they only do the later mk5 floors which I don’t want with the raised part in the passenger footwell for the fuel lines.
Have you got a photo of your floor?
Thanks

I have recently ordered full mk2 floor from m machine and currently awaiting delivery, but think it’s the best way to repair a car with either extensive rot or as in my case poor repairs in the past. Think it was about £560 plus the dreaded vat, I did get a discount on that price but can’t remember now as bought my boot floor, door steps and a few other parts as well.
They are very helpful on phone and helped me select the correct parts.

I bought a complete mk1 floor from M machine, fitted perfectly, and made a much nicer job than lots of panels welded together and saved lots of time!

Yep, I’m looking at going concourse plus it’s getting electroplated anyway so it will look better then when it came out of the factory :+1:
That’s looking awesome there Chris…how long is that currently in the making?

Id be happy enough with that floor in my MK 1 .   it seems to be the best value for money at £  541 it still seems expensive to me !  but that’s the problem owning a fabrication company I know i can buy quite  a few  sheets of steel for that price

4 long years :-(

hoping to keep it going long enough so that by the time its finished a bog standard 1984 Mayfair will be consider a classic!

Currently looking like this:

If you do go with this floor assy and you are not replacing the seat pan as well, the healboard profile is slightly different so some of your spot weld drill holes will need patching - if that makes sense

Good luck with it.

Do you chaps think that it would be a bad move fitting a later floorplan mk3/4  into my mark 1 shell,  i was originally planning on sticking with a magic wand box for originality but didn’t know if this would limit my gearbox choice and also make the gear change less positive,  i plan on running a 1275 engine  so I also considered running a remote change or even the rod change type.  I would be curious to listen to your thoughts .

I wouldn’t fit a rod change floor to a mk1, it’s too obvious to any potential buyer and I think would reduce value,
I have just bought a mk2 floor from m machine and it’s a superb panel and fits easily, i think it’s either replace floor in situ retaining your own tunnel or get the correct panel,
Nothing wrong with the magic wand change quality, I have an early mk1 850 and it suits the car perfectly.

Thanks Daz 1968, its going to be the complete floor because I’m not happy with the tunnel.  who did you use for your floor as m machine don’t deal direct ?

They do just give them a ring, I had to wait 3 weeks for mine but that gave me plenty of time to get the old one out. Just get the doorsteps as well so at least floor will be attached to toe board and a and b posts before cutting anything else out. I bought the rear bins as well as it’s easier to just cut the old ones to get floor out

+1 they do deal direct. But email and website not a strong point. Phone Doreen and she will sort out what is needed and give you the lead time.
The quality is excellent.
