Is it legal to have fog lights mounted on the grill. Basically i dont want to drill in my bumper to fit them so is it possible to mount them on the grill, it will be the same hight as the ones which are fitted on the bumper.
Can anyone advise me?
Jackman
I don’t think the grill will be strong enough
U can buy brackets that fix using the pre-drilled holes in the bumper mounting lip
or do what i’m doing and get a grill with cut-outs for fogs

The problem i have at the moment is money, the grill is around 50 and so is the braket, i have a old grill which had two spot lamps on it but that was rusty so got thrown away The grill is strong enough, the lights dont weigh much.
Or you could just drill the front panel
and fix usind a bolt with the nut under neath the panel
As long as the spacing is equal both side they should be fine

If doing that id rather do the bumper as its easier to replace than the front pannel.
I was wondering if i could do it without getting the attention of the police. I know there are laws to the height and stuff of fog lights.
you don’t have to get a new front panel
gust get the holes welded up or just leave the bots in
*Runs to find fitting instructins that came with my lamps*
