looking for some good front end speakers… im most probs going to be putting them into some door pods, also looking for some to put into the dash when i get it sorted, wus the best for sound and price?

the vibe sa-k 50’s or 60’s are quite good and not bad at about £70, but they recommend that you run them of an amp, the only problem if you haven’t got one.
They’re well worth having a look at though.
what price range are u looking at, for £70 u could get some 2nd hand rainbow comps will sound a million times better than vibe, or get some brand new dls comps I picked a set up for £70. If ur on a really tight budget as with all things value for money it has to be JBL.
You’ll need an amp mate either way to get good sound out of components. I’ll agree with scarface’s suggestions completely. Depends what music you listen to to be honest. The DLS speakers are a very high sound-quality brand, and are pretty universal, but they look EXTREMELY plain, so don’t expect any points design-wise.
If you don’t mind some sound quality issues (not saying it’ll be bad at all), then by all means go for JBL’s or even if you can find them Cadence components. These will look nice and provide more than adequate sound (for rock, pop, rnb music).
But do look into getting an amp. If not, then you may as well just buy some coaxials for the front since you won’t be getting the most out of your speakers
70quid might be a little to high… yeah i got a amp running me sub atm was planning on running them off the HU.. or am i better of going with the amp?
If you aint got much cash then a set coaxs are gonna be your only option really, i’m assuming this is a budget build and not gonna be used in any sort of competition.
I’ve always found pioneer speakers to be good if you aint got much cash or a set of jbl’s if you fancy spending a bit more, i’m running a set of 5" power series jbl coaxs and they give a really good sound and a fair bit of midbass too, i only run these and a 12" sub and they are more than up to the job. You can pick a set of 5" JBL gto’s up for a shade under 50 notes or if youyr really skint a set of 2 way pioneers for as little as 35 notes.
