Fitting Twin High & Low Snail Horns

Hi all,

 

I am after some basic eletcrical advise please, I have the following which is two horns (not everyones taste I know)

Could anyone run through what I need to do to install both please?, I currently have one unworking horn with 2 pins (earth and live).

 

I will need to create an extra 2 wires I presume for them to both work off the same switch (horn push stalk).

Just loop the wires off the 1st one onto the 2nd one, making sure each wire goes to the same terminal.

Ok thanks, I will need to find somewhere to buy some wire and connectors.

Halfords for basic stuff - but if you’re likely to do more electrics get a Vehicle Wiring Products catalogue - pretty much everything you’ll ever need and reasonable prices

Ok cool thanks for that, I will get a catalogue as restoring my other mini.

I’d fit a relay system, if it isn’t already using one, while you are doing it to save wear and tear on the horn button … the extra horn may increase the load slightly so the relay system will take the load rather than the button.
