i’ll be turning 17 in january & have been spending sometime looking for a possible first car. The car i really want is a kp61 starlet but my second choice is a mini. I was just wondering what one is like for a first car?
the other problem is insuring any car, does anyone know of any cheap(ish) car insurance for a 17 year old in a mini because the quotes i have been getting atm are upwards of £1800?
I’d second that and offer Lancaster Insurance as a first port of call.
I passed my test two months ago, just turned 24, and they gave me the best fully comp., agreed valuation quote out there on my 998c Designer. A mere £40/mth. Everywhere else was quoting me up in the hundreds.
Insurance for a provisional licence holder is always expensive. When i was insured on an nissan Almera as an additional driver on a provisional i increased the price of the premium. When i passed i reduced the price. Insurance is a crazy thing. It was fairly expensive when i got insured on my mini equinox but that was because of the mods. but it was still lower than 1K.
go for a 998 engine, they are cheap to insure, and just have a standard which will make it cheaper too, my insurance on my 1275 was 660 a year third party with no no claims and id only been driving 3 months, i forget who it was with tho, ill find out and post 2moro
yesh i don’t actually know what i’m doing…
and have lost my still remains album
this has nothing to do with what is actually happening… time for more coffee..
