Just talking to my dad and he said that he thinks i will want something a bit nippier than my 998 when i get it on the road.
He said about getting a 1275 and putting that in it but i duno how much an engine conversion would cost.
Do you think it would be cheaper to buy a new mini with a 1275 already in it or to buy a 1275 engine and fit that…
by the way we would be doing all the work ourselves.

a new engine will be cheaper, and is fairly straightforward if you have the right tools. make sure its in good condition, and dont forget itll put your insurance up.
yeh im just gettin quotes now. dont realy want just the 998 as im going to be driving to and from cambridge to winchester fairly often.
i hate insurance so much its gona cost me about £1300 at the least.
a stage 1 998 is fairly nippy, 0-60 about 15secs rather than standard 18secs. 1275 is about 12 secs depending which one
