Just joined up.
I thought this would be an ideal place to find knowledge and bits for the olde A series engine.
I don’t own a mini myself (although once did) but do own a Minor.
The Minor is a 1966 4 door using a 1098cc lump (pointing in the right direction ) with RWD, which makes it hilarious on wet roundabouts.
I’d like another mini but at the moment 2nd hand prices are beyond a joke.
What happened to all the £50 - £150 cheapies? :saywhat:
> …(pointing in the right direction )…
And which direction would that be?! I think its pointing towards the door…and don’t let it hit you on the way out!
You should be able to get some really good advice on here…! Welcome to the party!

I’ve got a dead one in the garden too if anyone wants it for nothing… the old 1098 doesn’t look right alongside your regular gnomes and foliage.
i could really do with a 1098 lump… well, only because i want to go faster and all the older people i know who had minis when they were young said 1098s were rapid!
