my old points/condensor dizzy has gone tits up and just put in a spare electronic 1 i had, mini is now driving fantastic and hopfully i wont be breaking down on the way to work tommorrow!! Is there a down side to putting an electric dizzy in or am i fine with it in my 1380 long term?
Well my Minis passed 99,000 miles in the 15 years I’ve owned it and I’ve had no problems with it’s electronic ignition.
You can’t fix it as easy on the roadside - other than that I see no points against it
