should be ok (i have just done it) just make sure that the link up to the engine is the same (pot joints?)
Yes you can, aslong as the inner CV’S are of the pot joint variety and not hardy splicer (early type).

If they are the crucifix type and some of the earlier pot type then the shafts are of a smaller diameter, the later types had a heavier duty driveshaft the heavier duty type are “sort” of parallel along most of the length, where as the “weaker” type are waisted in the middle section
