UPDATE:- they range from 13% to20%. I dont like the sound of that but would value others experiences
My leakdown test system is a bit DIY as I do not have the two pressure gauges with appropriate orifice between them. I just pump up a cylinder to 100psi using the tyre inflater adaptor on my compressor and see how long it takes for the pressure to drop to say 20psi. It is usually a few seconds. The adaptor into the cylinder is an old spark plug without its innards, suitably modified of course.

OK, thanks ickle. I dont think its going to improve,not much of a believer in bedding in when all new and rings/bore are nice and round.Will give it a while though.
