**Ok…
so driving around in Freddie yesterday and we heard a clunk coming from the drivers side wheel. Chris was driving and he said before it clunked the steering felt weird. And then there was a drumming whilst driving a long. Disappeared after a while.
So chris jacked it up this morning. Cant hear any rumbling noise from the wheel and there is slight play in the ball joint but had that a while and no worse. Don’t think its the CV joint as no clicking when reversing round tight corners.
It was very snowy and icy yesterday so the brakes weren’t used as used gears for slowing.
So we are wondering ? Is it the bearing? Ball joint or could it be something totally different ??
The main concern is the clunk. It was when we were doing about 40.
Any suggestions?**
