haha yeah maybe mad well i’m having my test next week and if I pass I want to be able to drive my mini on the first day!

Easy job I thought… and then whilst pulling it through the bulkhead it snapped on both sides. A 2 minute job took 40minutes

I did 2 engine swaps last year outside in the snow

Normally in this weather we have the hangar doors open at work with 2 aircraft in and the freezing fog rolling in. Bloody cold and wet and thats inside.

I drove a 180mile roundtrip to the stoneleigh chrismas show on the 23rd december(i think) last year in the Scamp.

It was -16*C windchill all the way there but a bit warmer at -12*C on the way back. Then again half the journey back was in a blizzard and i had to drive without eye protection because the snow covered the lenses too quickly.

Now thats dedication to the Mini Scene!!! Although i dont think i’ll try that again

Whoops, forgot that the years before that i did the MiniMine 5Hit Run, and a treasure hunt with a stoke based club(sorry forgot the name at the moment). Both of them were in freezing conditions, snowy weather, and at least 6hrs worth of driving .

I really must book in to get my head checked because even i’m thinking doing them was just plain stupid
