put my engine back in and when it idles theres a rattleing noise, but wen reved up it goes away, guy said to me thatt it might be the timing chain cover needs grinding back, if it was the wee ends on the pistons would it onli rattle while idlein?
hi just a thought… double check your valve clearences.
checked and reseted them, also put new set of pushrods in
If the noise is coming from the clutch side of the engne, it could be the transfer gears resonating (clacking). maybe the idle is too low or the engine needs tuning to smooth it out.
