Biggest Brakes For Ultralite's?

Hi,

Ive had abit of a look around but cant really find exactly what im after.

Ive just brought myself some 10x6 ultralite’s. What is the biggest and/or best brakes i could fit under these rims? I read that you can get the KAD 6pot’s under 10’s but can you get them under the ultralite’s?

Price doesnt worry me to much. Aslong as its not going to cost me more than my cars worth.

i got the 4 pot alloy calipers under mine minispares ones
and there 7.5 discs

yeh im looking at the minispare ones but i was wondering if there are any other options.

How well do they stop?

Im looking at this for the future when i plan to do a worked B16 conversion. Its times to update my brakes nowish so i thought if i do it this time i will do it properly

best brakes i know of that fit under tens are mine i think tarox and kad do under tens but there expenisve so have a look around

ok cool. Are the KAD 4 pots any better that the minispares ones or are you paying for the name?

Ive been looking at the 6pot from KAD and they say they can fit 7.9" but i dont think 7.9" actually fit under these rims is this correct?

Im just trying to get the best brakes i can.

well looking at a few of the kad products i believe that your paying for the research and quality but i still believe that most kad items are very expensive for example the internal gear linkage looks good but the price!

anyway back on the brakes mini sport, mini speed and mini spares 4 pot alloy calipers and kad ones all do the same thing its just the quality of there materials they even look the same, only difference i know of is minispares ones have 2 bleed nipples on each calipers which is good, (what i am getting at is yes your paying for the name on these)

i have been told that some 10 inch wheels fit over the 7.9 discs but i dont think there are many, i have got the 7.5 discs with the alloy 4 pots and i have got minilights over them with about 5mm gaps between inside of rim and caliper face. if your after best braking performance go 13" and get tarox 6 pots i think they even have got 12 or 16 pots now,

more pots bigger dish … are the best (ready steady cook)!!!
