Hi guys,
any recommendations on 6 x 9’s for the mini. will be going on the parcel shelf.
Don’t want to be spending loads, but a good compromise on SQ and output.

might be better to fit some 13cm or 16.5cm co-axials as shelf mods will be needed.
6x9s are normally fitted under rear seats on a board.

I know, but i’ve planned to do the cut professionally re-creating the ‘swadge’ after the cut, instead of just going in medievil with a jigsaw.
No one has any recommendations then?
Whats your budget? Max £50?
VIBE QB69,
not the cheapest and you’ll need an amp, but just about the best 6X9 speaker you’ll find.
I have some decent Alpine 6x9s, and also a JBL 400W amp plus a smaller 50W amp if your interested?
6x9 alpines! Excellent sound! But i also have 13 cm kenwoods on the rear parcel shelf, good too!
If you’re dead set on 6x9’s http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/product/p…ts\_id/4580.html would be a good option.
edit - although there are quite a few different options http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/product\_l…akers/pg/5.html
iv got 2 sets of infinity 9623i 6x9 Speakers and so has the gf
Out all the 6x9s iv ever had this including
pioneer
fusion
kenwood
sony
pyle
mutant
vibe slicks (older type)
the infinitys sound the best out of that bunch for me, but iv also used them on 3 different head units and they sound good on all but much much better on my pioneer headunit
aha sorry to have confused you!
I like the look of these

but will they then require a 1200w amp? (thats how it works out with PA equipment, you go on the max wattage)
Sam
Technically, there’s no reason why you can’t run these off the head unit. *But* to get anywhere near the full potential of these drivers you’d need an amp capable of around 200w rms per channel.
